As part of activities marking the ongoing National Police Day celebration, the Ondo State Police Command on Day 3 intensified its community engagement drive through widespread sensitization campaigns across the State.

The Command strategically reached out to key stakeholders including commercial drivers, motorcycle riders, and market women at various motor parks and market places. During these engagements, officers enlightened participants on critical issues such as public safety, crime prevention, the dangers of jungle justice, and the importance of collaboration with the Police in maintaining law and order.

The sensitization also emphasized adherence to traffic regulations, personal security awareness, and the need for timely reporting of suspicious activities to security agencies.

In furtherance of the outreach, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Abayomi Jimoh extended the sensitization campaign to the airwaves through an interactive session on Positive FM 102.5 Akure. The radio program provided an opportunity to reach a wider audience, where listeners were educated on the role of the Police, ongoing reforms, and the importance of community policing. The session also allowed members of the public to ask questions and receive clarifications on security-related concerns.
