Fayemi Absent As Tinubu Hosts South West Governors In Lagos (See Details)
As the race for the 2023 presidential election draws nearer, political parties and individuals have continued to strengthen their bonds with notable politicians. This isn’t different in the case of former governor of Lagos Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he has been speculated to run for the 2023 presidency.
In view of this, the National leader of APC Bola Tinubu hosted five south west Governors at his residence in ikoyi lagos. This is coming after returning from a long medical vacation in London where he had earlier hosted notable politicians and prominent Nigerians including the president Muhammadu Buhari.
The South west Governors who Tinubu includes, Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Governor of Osun Oyetola. Although Makinde was absent but was represented by his deputy as Governor Kayode Fayemi was totally absent.
