Oyo NUJ Visits Adron Homes, Commends Company’s Contribution to Affordable Housing

As part of events marking the 2025 Press Week of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, a delegation of journalists paid a courtesy visit to Adron Homes and Properties Limited, one of Nigeria’s foremost real estate development firms.

The Press Week, scheduled to hold from October 12th to 17th, 2025, in Ibadan, is themed around strengthening media engagement and celebrating journalistic excellence. The visit to Adron Homes was aimed at enhancing collaboration between the NUJ and the company in promoting greater public understanding of housing and real estate opportunities.

Led by the Oyo NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola, the team was received by the Managing Director of Adron Group, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, at the company’s head office in Omole, Lagos. In his remarks, Comrade Babalola praised Adron Homes for its unwavering dedication to providing affordable housing solutions to Nigerians.

He described the organization as a shining example of innovation and social responsibility, commending its impact on improving living standards through sustainable real estate development.

Responding on behalf of the Chairman/CEO, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Oyo NUJ for the visit and congratulated the council on its forthcoming Press Week. She reiterated Adron Homes’ commitment to maintaining a cordial relationship with the media while promoting transparency and trust within the real estate industry.

Mrs. Ajobo further noted that the media remains a strategic partner in achieving the company’s vision of making quality housing affordable for all Nigerians, assuring that Adron Homes would continue to collaborate on public enlightenment and awareness initiatives.

The visit also featured an engaging interactive session where both parties explored possible areas of partnership in public education on real estate investment, land ownership, and property documentation.

The NUJ team commended Adron Homes for its impactful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, particularly in youth empowerment and community development across the country. The visit concluded with the exchange of goodwill messages and photographs, underscoring a renewed spirit of collaboration between Adron Homes and the Oyo State NUJ.
