Adron Homes Inaugurates New AHPORA Executives at Treasure Park & Gardens Phase 2 Extension
Adron Homes has inaugurated new executives of the Adron Homes Property Owners and Residents Associations (AHPORA) for the Uptown and Downtown zones of Treasure Park & Gardens Phase 2 Extension in Simawa, Ogun State, to strengthen residents’ participation in estate management and deepen engagement with the company.
The inauguration ceremony, held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Downtown Estate, Simawa, brought together residents, property owners and stakeholders, with HRH Oba Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo (Otete III), the Odemo of Isara Remo, serving as the Royal Father of the Day.
The newly inaugurated executives are expected to serve as a bridge between residents and the company by communicating concerns, promoting accountability and ensuring that issues affecting property owners receive appropriate attention.
In the Uptown Zone, Mrs. Augustina Chuks was inaugurated as Chairman, while Mrs. Ogunba-Ojo Hutawa Aderonke emerged as Secretary-General. Hon. Mrs. Wale Fayemi and Mr. Lateef Eniola were represented at the event by their daughter and wife, respectively.
For the Downtown Zone, Alhaji Akeem Segun Koletowo was inaugurated as Chairman, while Mr. Alex O. Ohanwadi assumed office as Secretary-General.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuel King, KOF, described the inauguration as a significant milestone in the evolution of the estate, noting that residents had transformed what was once unoccupied land into a thriving community.
“We are not simply inaugurating executives. We are acknowledging that Downtown Estate has reached another stage in its journey,” he said.
He emphasised that while developers provide the vision, infrastructure and foundation for an estate, residents ultimately determine its character, reputation and long-term success.
According to him, property owners and residents must take an active role in shaping their community rather than remaining passive observers of its development.
“You are not spectators. You are the story,” he added.
Sir Aare Adetola charged the newly inaugurated executives to approach their responsibilities with integrity, humility and a strong commitment to the welfare of residents.
He urged them to demonstrate leadership that promotes constructive engagement, peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding, encouraging them to “listen without losing direction, speak without creating unnecessary conflict, and disagree without destroying relationships.”
The Adron Group chairman further noted that an estate’s reputation, security, orderliness and quality of relationships among residents directly influence the value of property investments.
“The success of an estate cannot be manufactured from the developer’s office. There must also be ownership from the people who live here,” he said.
Also speaking, the Managing Director of Adron Homes, Adenike Ajobo, acknowledged the challenges encountered by the company in the course of its growth, describing them as part of the process of building a stronger and more resilient organisation.
She characterised Adron Homes as an unstoppable movement and urged homeowners, investors and residents to unite under AHPORA to promote the collective development of the estate.
“The only thing we are clamouring for, agitating for, and campaigning for is for all of us to come together to grow our estate together through AHPORA,” she stated.
The ceremony also highlighted the importance of residents’ contributions to estate security and infrastructure maintenance. A couple of homeowners, who requested anonymity, were recognised for their support towards improving security and maintaining the estate’s facilities.
The couple donated a motorcycle and security equipment to assist security personnel in carrying out patrols and responding to security needs. They also supported the painting of the estate’s gatehouse.
In addition, they provided food supplies and further security equipment to support the welfare and operational needs of the estate’s security personnel.
Their contributions underscored the role of collective responsibility and resident participation in creating a safe, orderly and well-maintained neighbourhood.
The inauguration forms part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Adron Homes and property owners, providing a more structured platform for communication, problem-solving and community development.
As the new executives begin their tenure, Sir Aare Adetola expressed confidence that they would build on the progress already achieved and leave a positive legacy for future leaders.
He expressed the hope that when another set of executives eventually takes over, they would be able to look back at the current administration and say: “They left Downtown better than they met it.”
