EFCC Declares Fargo Petroleum Boss Seun Ogunbambo Wanted in N976 Million Oil Subsidy Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has launched a manhunt for Seun Ogunbambo, Chief Executive Officer of Fargo Petroleum and Gas Limited, over his alleged role in defrauding the Nigerian government of more than N976 million in a bogus oil subsidy scam.

According to EFCC officials, Ogunbambo initially fell into their custody but subsequently disappeared after being released on bail fueling suspicion that he may be evading justice.

The commission further revealed that his co-defendants in the case have already been convicted and handed fourteen-year prison sentences, underscoring the seriousness of the alleged fraud.
