The event, open to bankers and marketing communication professionals across Nigeria’s financial sector, is part of ACAMB’s ongoing wellness campaign aimed at tackling the rising challenge of workplace stress and burnout in high-pressure environments like banking.

The morning session begins with warm-up exercises and a brief walk to activate participants’ energy, followed by a high-energy dance aerobics segment designed to elevate heart rates and morale. The program also includes interactive fitness games encouraging movement and teamwork, and concludes with a friendly fitness challenge to spark healthy competition and motivate participants to push their limits.

Speaking ahead of the event, ACAMB President, Rasheed Bolarinwa, emphasized the importance of health in achieving sustainable professional performance.

> “Bankers are vital to the financial ecosystem, and their wellness must be a priority. This aerobics session is a powerful way to foster a culture of health, team bonding, and preventive care,” Bolarinwa stated. “It reflects our belief as ExCO that a strong mind and body are essential for long-term professional excellence.”

Set against the backdrop of Lagos’ waterfront, the event also offers professionals an opportunity to socialize and relax outside the traditional office setting, helping to build camaraderie across the industry.

The fitness session forms part of a broader wellness-focused initiative being championed by ACAMB to emphasize the value of physical and mental wellbeing within corporate and marketing communication units, and across the banking ecosystem at large.

ACAMB serves as the official professional body for public affairs and marketing communication executives in Nigeria’s banking industry. The association is committed to upholding ethical communication practices, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and advancing employee welfare, corporate reputation, and organizational trust among member banks.
