Aare Adetola Emmanuelking Conferred with Inaugural “Knight of Faith” Title by CAN South West

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), South West region, has conferred its first-ever “Knight of Faith” title on prominent business magnate and philanthropist, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, in recognition of his unwavering commitment to the Christian faith, national development, and outstanding leadership in business and community service.
The landmark investiture ceremony, themed “Celebrating Distinction and Faithful Stewardship,” took place at the Garden of Faith in Abeokuta. The event also witnessed the induction of several notable Nigerians as Distinguished Patrons of the association, including the Inspector General of Police, Dr. Kayode Egbetokun; Deputy Comptroller General of Customs, Barr. Olaniyi Alajogun; and gospel music legend, Sir Evangelist Prof. Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi (MFR).
Presiding over the event was CAN South West Chairman, Bishop Tunde Akin-Akinsanya, while Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON — represented by Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Tokunbo Talabi — attended as the association’s Grand Patron.
Other dignitaries in attendance included Ogun State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Ola Oresanya; the State Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Ogunlowo; several royal fathers; CAN National President, His Grace Most Rev’d (Dr.) Daniel Chukwudumebi Okoh; and State Chairmen of CAN from across the country.
The spiritually uplifting event featured gospel music performances, intercessory prayers, award decorations, and a special empowerment program. In a notable act of generosity, Aare Emmanuelking donated a plot of land in one of Adron Homes’ premium estates to the winner of the empowerment initiative — reinforcing his dedication to economic empowerment and social transformation.
In his acceptance speech, Aare Emmanuelking expressed heartfelt gratitude, dedicating the honour to God and the global Christian community.
“This is a divine call, not just to me but to every Christian in leadership,” he stated. “I urge every believer to uphold the values of our faith — integrity, love, excellence, and service. The world needs more light-bearers, especially in these trying times.”
He called on Christians across all spheres of influence to remain steadfast in advancing Kingdom values and principles, emphasizing that the “Knight of Faith” title was not just an award, but a divine mandate to serve more diligently.
The newly unveiled “Knight of Faith” sash is now recognized as a lasting emblem of spiritual distinction and service-driven leadership within the Christian faith. This historic moment marks a significant milestone in CAN South West’s efforts to honour individuals who exemplify Christ-like values and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
