The governorship candidate of Labour Party in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has explained the reason behind his inability to fluently speak Yoruba Language despite being a Lagosian.

In an interview on Arise TV, Gbadebo made it known that he spent a huge part of his academic life overseas and that is why he is unable to fluently speak Yoruba language.

There are claims that he is of the igbo descendant but he debunked them, stating that He doesn’t understand Igbo language but can speak Yoruba language briefly.

He then responded to a question one of the presenters asked him in Yoruba language.
