Wema bank restricts Davido’s account after he received over N130M in space of hours
Following the N100M plea instituted by Davido ahead of his birthday, where he called on fans and fellow celebrities to bless him with cash gifts, the recently opened Wema bank account meant for this stunt has been restricted.
This is coming after the singer accumulated over N130M in a space of hours. Screenshots shared by Davido shows that debit has been restricted in the bank account, which means he can’t withdraw funds from it at the moment.
The Post-No-Debit (PND) feature is usually used by banks to check illegal activities. It is usually activated when an individual receives a stupendous amount of money within a short period.
Davido has been hit by this owing to the tremendous influx of cash especially in a new account.
