In the beginning of the year, the man of God released a prophetic declaration on telecommunication giant, Globacom and said the company will have a great year, while urging the federal government to support it being an indigenous company.

Later in the year, Primate Ayodele said Glo will soar higher than other telecommunication companies in the country and will go beyond being a leading company in Nigeria but in Africa.

These prophecies have started coming to pass with some of the developments that have happened to Glo in the past few months.

About two weeks ago, the company was awarded as the most popular brand in 2022 at the public presentation of the 2022 brand evaluation by Top 50 Brands Nigeria.

Globacom topped the list with 83.8 per cent of respondents (without prompts) listing Glo or Globacom as their first choice in the “top 10 of the mind brands.”

Also, the Nigerian communications commission (NCC) in a publication last month revealed that the new telephone subscribers in the month of July settled more for Glo than other networks.

According to the report published on NCC’s website, Globacom added 2,103,721 million new customers in July to take its subscriber base to 58,330,200 from 56,226,479 the previous month. This represents 83 per cent of the total number of 2,523,276 new phone users recorded in the country in July.

Just a few days ago, Glo launched a new auto credit service, a payment service bank called Money Master, there have just been a series of positive activities for the company since Primate Ayodele made a declaration.

On the other hand, Primate Ayodele also spoke about other telecommunications companies that include Airtel, MTN. He warned the companies to be careful as he foresees unfavourable times for them.

In fulfilment of these prophecies, Nigerians have started complaining as both MTN and Airtel increased their data fee by 10%. Several people have made decisions to move from the networks due to the changes in prices.
