His sudden disappearance aroused suspicion, prompting the authorities to launch an investigation into the circumstances of his death. “Forty-three-year-old Joseph Kariuki Wanjiko, a Catholic priest from the Diocese of Nairobi and a farmer from the Mango district, checked into the aforementioned hotel with his girlfriend, who also happened to be a colleague of his. He was working in a novel”

Then, at around 8 am this morning, the priest’s friend informed the hotel management that her boyfriend was dizzy and unconscious so they could take him to the hospital. They then took him to Kinnol Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The body was taken to the morgue of Mater Hospital, where the police opened an investigation to determine the cause of his death. –
