Just In: CBN Denies Extending Validity Of Old N200, N500, N1000 Notes Till May 1

The central bank of Nigeria (CBN) has denied extending the validity of the old N200, N500, N1000 notes till 1st of May, 2023.

This is coming after the first lady, Aisha Buhari shared an information that the central bank has been asked to recirculate the old notes and make it valid until May 1.

Several APC chieftains have also followed suit as they shared on their various social media group.

In a reaction, the CBN descried it as fake news via its twitter page
