Nigerian Tribune gathered that the total number of accredited voters was 21,473, while the number of vote cast stood at 21,903.

He said; “The total number of valid voters cast is more than the number of accredited votes, we are cancelling this result for overvoting.

“It is the INEC that will tell you or decide what to do with the result of Abaji, whether there is going to be another election or not.”

The agents of political parties had raised eyebrows when a party, African Democratic Party (ADP) that had no business in the election, because the party had no candidate, appeared on the ballot papers and was even given a vote, then came the issue of over voting, leading to the cancellation.
