Drama erupted at the national assembly as the senate president, Godswill Akpabio mistakenly announced that the house clerk has sent money to senators to enable them to enjoy their holiday.

Immediately after his statement, there were murmurs among the senators probably due to the fact that the senate president wasn’t supposed to make the announcement publicly since they were being covered live.

On discovering that he has committed an error, he quickly withdrew the statement and described what was sent to the senators as ‘mails’ to enable them to enjoy their holidays.

Despite his efforts to cover up his mistakes, it further led to more confusion for the Senate president who was clearly disoriented following his error in making such an announcement on Live TV.
