Breaking: Four injured as Osun speaker escapes death in car crash

Four security personnel were injured as the speaker, Osun state House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun, escaped death in a car crash.

The convoy of the speaker had been involved in an accident while leaving Osogbo, the state capital on Sunday.

Sources close who revealed that bad tyre led to the accident further disclosed that, “The vehicle hit that of speaker but with low impact. The speaker is safe but four of the security were injured and taken to a private hospital around Oke-Baale area of Osogbo where they are receiving treatment.”

As at the time of filling this report no officially statement has been made but the spokesperson of the speaker, Olamide Tiamiyu, confirmed the accident, saying, “it occurred when the speaker was going out of Osogbo. Two of the security operatives have been discharged.”
