APC Names Wike, Ademola Adeleke, Soludo In Tinubu Campaign Council (Full List)

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revised President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 presidential campaign council, naming Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo among those assigned campaign responsibilities.

Under the arrangement announced on Tuesday, October 13, Tinubu will chair the council, with Vice-President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda serving as vice-chairmen. Former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari was named Director-General, while Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma will serve as secretary.

Wike is expected to coordinate campaign activities in Rivers State and the FCT, while Adeleke and Soludo will oversee mobilisation in Osun and Anambra states, respectively. Their inclusion has attracted attention because they belong to political parties outside the APC.

The revised structure also assigns APC governors to coordinate presidential campaign activities in their respective states, alongside other designated party leaders in states controlled by opposition parties.

The campaign council is expected to be inaugurated at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, October 14, as the ruling party intensifies preparations for the 2027 general election.

However, the precise arrangements governing the participation of Wike, Adeleke and Soludo require further clarification from the APC and the individuals concerned.
