Popular Nigerian musician, Azeez Fasola, also known as Naira Marley, on Thursday visited the headquarters of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), where he declared his support for the war against drug abuse of the agency.
Naira Marley was in the news a few years ago when operatives of the agency arrested some young men in his house in Lagos State who were said to have been found with substances suspected to be Indian hemp.
However, Naira Marley on Thursday visited the Abuja headquarters of the agency where he was received by the Chairman of the agency, Brigadier General Buba Marwa (retired).
According to a statement by the agency posted on its Twitter handle on Thursday, during the meeting with Marwa, Marley declared his support for the war against drug abuse being waged by the agency.
