Fidelity Bank Reinstates International Transactions on Naira Debit Cards
Fidelity Bank Plc, a leading Tier-One financial institution, has announced the reinstatement of international transactions on its Naira Debit Cards. With this development, customers can now enjoy seamless payments abroad, online, and at ATMs across the globe.
Speaking on the announcement, Ifeoma Onibuje, Divisional Head, eBanking at Fidelity Bank Plc, stated:
“We are delighted to inform our customers and the general public that Fidelity Naira Debit Cards have been re-enabled for international use. This means that our customers travelling abroad can now make purchases, payments, and ATM withdrawals with ease and convenience.”
Under the new guidelines, customers can carry out international Point-of-Sale (POS) and online transactions of up to $1,000 per quarter, while international ATM withdrawals are capped at $500 per quarter.
This reactivation offers customers an additional option for global payments, complementing the bank’s existing range of foreign currency debit and credit cards. It also underscores Fidelity Bank’s continued commitment to delivering innovative and lifestyle-enhancing financial solutions. With both VISA and Mastercard Naira Debit Cards, Fidelity customers can now enjoy unrestricted global access.
In addition to payments, Fidelity VISA cardholders also benefit from a range of premium travel and lifestyle privileges, including airport lounge and spa access via the VISA Airport Companion App, fast-track immigration services, and up to 20% discounts on SIXT car rentals worldwide.
Reaffirming its dedication to customer convenience, the bank has simplified the process of obtaining a Naira Debit Card. Customers can easily apply through the Fidelity Mobile App or visit any Fidelity Bank branch to request for a VISA or Mastercard Naira Debit Card and begin transacting globally without stress.
