Adron Chairman Congratulates Governor Dapo Abiodun on Maiden Flight from Gateway International Airport
The Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing, KOF, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, and the good people of Ogun State on the successful launch of the maiden commercial flight from the Gateway International Airport, Iperu-Ilishan.
In a congratulatory message, Aare EmmanuelKing described the milestone as a remarkable achievement that underscores Governor Abiodun’s visionary leadership, strategic foresight, and unwavering commitment to the infrastructural and economic advancement of the state.
He noted that the successful take-off of the first flight signifies the dawn of a new era for Ogun State, further reinforcing its position as the true Gateway to Prosperity and Development in Nigeria.
According to him, the feat exemplifies purposeful and result-oriented governance. “By transforming long-held dreams into reality, His Excellency has proven that true leadership goes beyond vision—it requires the courage, diligence, and capacity to make that vision come alive,” he stated.
Aare EmmanuelKing also proposed that the state government consider establishing a state-owned airline, “Gateway Air,” to strengthen Ogun’s identity, enhance tourism and commerce, and unlock the full economic potential of the new airport.
He lauded Governor Abiodun’s transformative leadership and expressed confidence that under his administration, Ogun State will continue to flourish as Nigeria’s foremost investment destination and a model of sustainable development.
“As you continue to steer the affairs of the state towards greater achievements, I pray for divine wisdom, strength, and continued success in delivering the dividends of good governance to the people of Ogun State,” he added.
He concluded by describing the Gateway International Airport as a legacy project that will stand the test of time and remain a lasting testament to visionary leadership.
