Taraba Governor-elect, Agbu Kefas Sues For Peace, Unity On Easter Sunday

In the spirit of the Easter season, the Governor – Elect of Taraba state, Agbu Kefas has called for peace and unity as Christians across the world celebrate Easter Sunday .

Kefas who enjoins Christians on peacful living and unity posits that the essence of Christ resurrection should not be forgotten.

In his words ” Easter Sunday is a significant day for Christians as it marks the resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ who humbly laid down his life for mankind”

“As we celebrate this remarkable event of his resurrection, I urge not to forget the reason for the season” he noted.

He further noted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death signifies light at the end of the tunnel, hope in the face of uncertainties , a breath of fresh air amidst stagnancy.

I urge us in Taraba to remain hopeful and be rest assured that after the night comes morning, we are moving towards our better days.

I admonish us to shun every form of violence and pray for a better Taraba. Let’s work together to maintain peace and unity.
