Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON, the governor of River State and former Presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has emerged as the Vice Presidential running mate to Atiku Abubakar ahead of the 2023 General elections

The 19 man committee organised a poll for the contest and they scored thus: Wike = 16 votes Okowa = 3
