LIFANIMA Opens Call For Entries For Its 8th Edition

The Lagos International Festival of Animation is thrilled to announce the opening of its 2024 call for entries, inviting animators from around the globe to submit their works to the festival.

As the premier Animation Film Festival in Nigeria, LIFANIMA aims to showcase the diversity, creativity, and innovation within the world of animation.

Established and emerging animators alike are encouraged to submit their original works across a variety of categories, including but not limited to: 2D Animation short film, 3D Animation short film, Animated commercial, Visual effects, Stop motion.

“We are excited to open our doors once again to the incredibly talented animation community,” said Mr Muyiwa Kayode, Festival Director of LIFANIMA.

He added that “Animation is a powerful medium that allows storytellers to explore endless possibilities, and we are eager to see the unique perspectives and visions that animators bring to our festival.”

In addition to showcasing outstanding animation, LIFANIMA offers networking opportunities, panel discussions, Animation workshops, screening of selected animated films and ward ceremony to celebrate outstanding films.

The festival provides a platform for animators to connect with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and inspire one another.

Submissions will be accepted through the film freeway portal.

The 2024 Edition of LIFANIMA will provide a vibrant and inclusive environment for animation enthusiasts and professionals alike.

LIFANIMA is proudly presented by USP Brand Management in collaboration with the Lagos State Film and Video Censors Board and the Embassy of France in Nigeria. The festival is proudly supported by Bank of Industryand TRACE TV.
