BREAKING: Lady who wrongly recited National Anthem at Senior Police officers Conference apologize to Nigerians (VIDEO)

Newslens Nigeria reports that Prior to a video that went viral on Monday evening where a lady who was identified as a policewoman missed the lyrics of National Anthem while reciting it at the conference and retreat for senior Police officers in Imo State which was aired live across TV stations.
This Nigeria news platform Reveals that the lady by the name Mercy Isoyip has taken to her Instagram page to apologize to Nigerians.
In her apology video which was obtained by Newslens Nigeria, she said “I sincerely apologize to The Nigeria Police Force, Citizens and dignitaries at the senior police officers conference held in Imo state. I know the importance of the National Anthem and I regret that I fell short in upholding the respect associated with it. The police gave me an opportunity to showcase my craft in the entertainment industry”.
While reacting to the ugly scene, the Police Spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi explained that the lady celebrity who was dressed in Police uniform, wearing a rank of SP is not a woman Police.
He stated that she was contracted by a partner and consultant to perform at the opening ceremony and she fumbled
