Reactions as Wife of Ondo Governor Betty Anyanwu Shares Akeredolu’s Picture in London hospital
The wife of the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, on Friday displayed the photograph of her husband in a foreign hospital on the day of his birthday, saying he is in good condition.
Akeredolu, popularly known as Aketi, clocked 67 years on Friday, having been born on July 21, 1956 and the wife, who clocked 70 years early this month, went to celebrate with him at a hospital said to be in Germany.
She had earlier postponed her birthday ceremony because of the absence of Governor Akeredolu.
Mrs Anyanwu-Akeredolu displayed the photograph of her with the husband on her Twitter handle on Friday, while writing a tweet that “Aketi dey Kampe, Victory for us.”
Governor Akeredolu was on June 13 flown out of Nigeria to a country said to be Germany after he handed over power to his deputy, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and has been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment since then.
Many followers of the Ondo State First Lady on Twitter expressed joy over the photograph displayed by the First Lady which showed the governor in excitement mood, though he looked frail.
