The All Progressive Congress (APC) held its national convention to produce the party’s presidential flag bearer for the 2023 presidential election and several surprises were pulled.

Some aspirants who were fully in the race stepped down their presidential ambition for the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the last minute. This was not expected due to the hardwork and money invested into their ambitions.

While others were stepping down especially from the south west zone, the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo and pastor Tunde Bakare decided to step up and continue in the race.

No doubt, VP Yemi Osinbajo had a very bright chance in the election due to his portfolio and followers, there was no way he would have stepped down considering his political strength but before now, VP Yemi Osinbajo was warned by popular prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele that he will only waste his money as he doesn’t see his ambition to become the next president of Nigeria coming to reality.

Primate Ayodele in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin months back made it known that VP Yemi Osinbajo will face several crisis and serious gang-ups that will not make him succeed.

The man of God said Yemi Osinbajo will not go beyond the vice president and that he is being deceived by a certain set of people.

These were his words

‘’It’s good that VP Yemi Osinbajo declared his ambition to become the President so that his mind can be settled, but he can never be President of Nigeria, his declaration is just a means of expressing what is bothering you. It’s either he wastes his money or decides not to waste money, but he can’t be the next President of Nigeria. They will implicate him, northerners don’t want him and some factors will stand against him, he can’t be there. He will be indicted, this declaration is just for record purposes, it won’t fly. They are deceiving him, he won’t go beyond the vice president, he should not waste his money at all.’’ (https://dailypost.ng/2022/04/12/2023-osinbajo-will-never-be-president-powerful-forces-will-implicate-him-primate-ayodele/)

Unfortunately for the Vice president, he didn’t listen to the warnings of the prophet and instead, he intensified efforts to woo delegates even until yesterday, he had one of the best speeches and was made to believe he would emerge as the party’s flagbearer but unfortunately, the warning of the man of God has been fulfilled with the VP coming third in the election.

In the same vein, Pastor Tunde Bakare was warned several times by Primate Ayodele that God is not backing him to be the next president of Nigeria and that he should focus on his pastoral duties. Primate Ayodele funnily said Bakare cannot even win in his church if an election is held not to talk about becoming Nigeria’s president.

‘’Tunde Bakare is mismanaging the grace of God upon his life and ministry. The dream of becoming Nigeria’s president is not realistic for him, he can’t even win an election in his church not to talk of Nigeria.’’ (https://dailypost.ng/2021/10/16/2023-face-missionary-work-stop-mismanaging-gods-grace-primate-ayodele-blasts-tunde-bakare/)

Unfortunately for Tunde Bakare who has assuredly said he will become the 16th president of Nigeria, he failed woefully in the election and got no votes, as Primate Ayodele rightly warned.

Several prophecies of the man of God have been flying around on social media, especially about the 2023 presidential election. He has also said Tinubu should not vie for the position of the presidency but should focus on his health condition. This was before Tinubu was flown out of the country for three-months for a knee surgery and as it stands, almost every one in Nigeria have noticed the fragility of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s health. But will Primate Ayodele’s prophecy on his ambition come to pass? Fingers crossed.
