This year’s edition of the Global Money Week is being held from March 18 to 24, 2024. The goal of Global Money Week (GMW) is to raise awareness about the value of making sure that young people are financially literate from an early age and gradually acquire the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour needed to make wise financial decisions and eventually achieve financial well-being.

The focus of the 2024 edition, “Protect Your Money, Secure Your Future,” is responsible money handling. It emphasizes how crucial it is to handle personal finance responsibly and intelligently by guarding one’s hard-earned money and being aware of any potential hazards in the financial industry.

MMPSB is embarking on a “Catch them Young” experiential campaign to teach kids in schools the importance of savings and investment culture. About 5,000 students are to be engaged through the week-long financial literacy programme which will be done through the bank’s coordinating centres across 10 states.
