The double-header match will be held on Wednesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja and the reverse fixture will take place on Monday at the 24 de Setembro National Stadium, Bissau. The Djurtus’ squad, consisting of 25 foreign professionals, arrived at the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport in Bissau in the early hours of Monday morning, ahead of their first official training session later that day.

The team is under the guidance of their head coach, Baciro Cande, who will be responsible for ensuring that the players are in top form for the crucial matches. As it stands, the Super Eagles are currently leading Group A with six points, while the Djurtus are in second place with four points, just two adrift of Nigeria.
