The other teams in the group are Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe. With the stakes so high, both teams will be hoping to secure maximum points from the double-header, as qualification for the AFCON is at stake. The top two teams from each group will automatically qualify for the tournament, which is scheduled to take place in Cote d’Ivoire in January 2023.

The Djurtus have been training hard ahead of the matches, and fans will be hoping that their team can pull off a surprise upset against the Super Eagles, who are considered one of the powerhouses of African football. The Nigerian team, on the other hand, will be keen to maintain their unbeaten run in the qualifying campaign and secure their spot in the AFCON.
