Carabao Cup: Iheanacho named Man of the Match in Leicester City’s win vs Burton Albion

Kelechi Iheanacho was named Man of the Match following Leicester City’s 2-0 win against Burton Albion in their Carabao Cup first round clash at the Pirelli Stadium on Wednesday night.

Iheanacho gave the Foxes the lead in the sixth minute.

The Nigeria international back-heeled calmly into the net after he was set up by a Marc Albrighton’s cross.

Iheanacho then turned provider early in the second half setting up his international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi for the second goal.

Burton strived in vain to get back into the game but Leicester City stood firm.

Enzo Maresca’s side will now face Trammere Rovers in the second round.
