Recall that Barcelona have just signed Brazilian footballer, Raphael Dias Belloli, better known as Raphinha.

The 25-year-old passed his medicals and is now at Camp Nou, ready for action in the La Liga.

Sources including transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Lewandowski’s deal was since closed for 45 million euros, with a further 5 million to be added in performance bonuses.

The Polish striker will sign a three-year deal, although some reports claim Lewandowski may eventually ink a four-year contract with Barca.

Naija News understands that Lewandowski was earlier linked with a move to the English Premier League side, Chelsea.

Though Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel was adamant about the development.

Lewandowski, however, is expected to undergo medical tests at Camp Nou this weekend to complete the contract signing and hopefully travel with the squad for the United States tour next week.

Confirming Lewandowski’s deal on Friday, Romano tweeted: “Robert Lewandowski will sign the contract with Barcelona during the weekend, already agreed since last February. Bayern will receive €50m add ons included.

“Lewandowski didn’t want to discuss with Chelsea or PSG despite many approaches: only Barcelona, like Raphinha.”
