Anambra International airport to commence flight Operation 30th October

After months of wait the Anambra state international cargo and passengers airport is set to commence it commercial flight Operation.
The airport which was inaugurated on Friday 30th April,2021, by his Excellency, The Governor Willie Obiano will commence it commercial flight Operation on Saturday, 30th October,2021.
Anambra state government surprised many Nigerians on April 30, 2021, when its new airport received three flights to mark its inauguration. The surprise came from the fact that not many knew that the airport was being built and also not many knew that it had reached the level of completion to host flights.
This explained the excitement and frenzy when the first aircraft, a Boeing 737 operated by Nigeria’s major carrier, Air Peace, landed at the airport, the home of the people who arguably are the most travelled in Nigeria.
Saturday, 30th October,2021 would also mark an epoch as the state would begin it flight Operations. These would record economic development and prosperity for the State at large.
