Police Reveal Category Of People Not Qualified For 2022 Recruitment
The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) in partnership with the Police Service Commission (PSC) has officially opened the application portal for the 2022 recruitment into the force.
The portal, www.policerecruitmnet.gov.ng, opened on Monday for interested and qualified Nigerians to apply into the Constables cadre of the Force.
However, the NPF in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Frank Mbah, highlighted some category of persons who are not qualified to apply.
The police said any applicant suffering from some form of deformities will not be accepted for enlistment.
According to the release, those with impediment in speech, knock knees, bow legs, bent knees (knees which cannot be straightened when standing at attention) should not apply.
Also, those with deformed hands which cannot perform the full functions of the hand; defective eyesight or squints eyes, including those with amputation of any part of the body, should also not apply.
Meanwhile, Mbah noted that qualified applicants must have the National Identification Number (NIN), functional email address, and valid phone number.
Applicants must possess a minimum of five credits in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with credit passes in English and Mathematics. They should also scan copy of their original O’Level result (s) to be uploaded on the portal.
Moreso, applicants must be aged between 17-25 years; must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for females.
The online application portal would be open for a period of six weeks starting from Monday, November 29, 2021 to Monday, January 10, 2021.
Upon completion of the application, successful applicants would be invited for physical screening from January 10 to January 24, 2021.
