The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero has narrated his experience in Imo State following the assault on him during a planned protest on workers’ condition in the state.
Speaking on Friday during a press conference in Abuja, Ajaero disclosed that he was arrested by Police operatives in Imo State.
The NLC President added that it was the Police who then handed him over to thugs who beat him severely and dragged him on the ground.

According to him, he was dragged on the ground by the thugs numbering about seven.

In his words, “I can’t explain the beating I received. They tied my hands and dragged me on the floor like a common criminal.”
