A Nigerian woman has reportedly stormed a Moniepoint office to demand an explanation over an alleged missing ₦5 million.

A video showing the woman confronting staff at the financial institution has gone viral on social media, generating reactions from Nigerians.

In the video shared by Naija News on X, the woman could be seen at a Moniepoint office, apparently demanding answers over the whereabouts of her money.

The woman reportedly insisted that ₦5 million was missing from her account and appeared visibly upset as she sought clarification from officials at the office.

The circumstances surrounding the alleged disappearance of the money were not immediately clear.

It was also not immediately established from the video whether the funds were lost through an unauthorised transaction, a failed transaction, an account-related issue or another circumstance.

The video has, however, renewed discussions on social media about the challenges customers sometimes face when trying to resolve disputed financial transactions.

The footage has continued to attract attention online.

Moniepoint has yet to publicly respond specifically to the allegation contained in the viral video.
