Samsung, Glo Launch Exclusive Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7 in Nigeria, Offer Free Data, Gifts Worth Over N1.2m

Globacom, Nigeria’s leading digital solutions provider, has partnered with global tech giant Samsung to unveil the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 smartphones, exclusively for Glo subscribers. The launch comes with attractive perks, including 18GB of complimentary data and exclusive gifts valued at up to N1.2 million for customers who pre-order.

The unveiling, held at Globacom’s corporate headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos, drew high-profile Glo customers, special guests, journalists, and executives from both companies. The event also featured a masterclass showcasing the advanced features of the Fold 7 and Flip 7 devices, which combine cutting-edge design, enhanced camera functions, and Galaxy AI integration.

Pre-orders commenced immediately at the launch venue, with several Glo subscribers placing instant orders. Others who had pre-ordered at Gloworld shops nationwide were also acknowledged. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, described as the thinnest and lightest in its series, and the Flip 7, featuring a larger cover screen and improved FlexWindow, are expected to redefine user experience in the foldable smartphone segment.

Stephen Okwarah, Head of Product Marketing at Samsung, praised the enduring partnership with Globacom, noting that Glo consistently delivers impressive subscriber sales volumes for Samsung devices. He also highlighted the remarkable features and benefits that await users of the new Galaxy series.

Globacom’s Head of Division (West), Abdulrazaq Ande, reiterated the company’s pride in offering the devices exclusively at Glo retail outlets across Nigeria. “These devices represent the pinnacle of mobile innovation, and our partnership with Samsung underscores our broader commitment to driving digital transformation in Nigeria,” he said. He added that Glo’s ongoing fiber-optic expansion and smart solutions are paving the way for the future of digital living in the country.

Ande encouraged tech enthusiasts and discerning smartphone users to visit Gloworld outlets nationwide to pre-order the new devices and enjoy the special offers.

At the event, high-net-worth individuals who had pre-ordered were rewarded with various gift items through a lucky dip, with the highlight being a 55-inch Samsung QLED TV won by telecom products dealer, Idowu Emmanuel.
