The assessment visit was carried out in line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, inter-agency coordination, and proactive policing across commands and formations nationwide.
During the exercise, CP Lawal commended the effective collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), noting that the strategic deployment of FRSC personnel has significantly improved traffic control and road safety along the corridor. He also praised the Nigeria Customs Service for its support in ensuring the smooth flow of traffic through the removal of barriers and other obstructions that could hinder motorists.
