Newslens Nigeria reports that solders in Kogi have arrested the local government chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local government with live ammunitions and cash in Kogi.

In a video sighted by this Nigeria news platform, He was seen being paraded by the soldiers alongside some men with the ammunitions and cash.

A governorship election is currently being held in Kogi state with the candidate of the PDP, Dino Melaye and APC’s Joel Ododo as major candidates.
