BREAKING: INEC Fixes New Date For supplemental Elections in Adamawa and Kebbi States

The additional governorship elections in Adamawa and Kebbi States will take place on April 15, 2023, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The nation’s electoral commission also announced that all upcoming supplementary elections for the National and State Assemblies would take place on the same day.

INEC ruled that the March 18 governorship elections in both States were invalid.

However, Rotimi Oyekanmi, the principal press secretary to the INEC chairman, said in a statement on Monday that all upcoming governorship, national, and state assembly supplementary elections will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
