Fresh Details have emerged on how a deeper Life Church Sweeper identified as Mrs Omode was killed by unknown persons in Ondo State.

With the community thrown into a state of apprehension, the reason for killing the church sweeper by unidentified persons was yet to be known.

The incident happened at Iwaro Oka-Akoko, in Akoko South West Local Government Area of the State.

Newslens gathered that the woman was killed in the early hours of Sunday in the front of her church, Deeper Life Bible Church in the community when she was on her way to sweep the church premises In preparation for the Sunday service.

A glimpse at her lifeless body in the pool of blood revealed that she was axed in the neck.

Speaking on the development, the Police Public Relations Officer [PPRO] in the State, Funmilayo Odunlami said the woman was found dead in front of the church.

The Police Spokesperson further disclosed that investigation had commenced over the incident in a bid to unmask those behind the dastardly act.
