How Soldier tried to disarm our officers For Stopping His Vehicle From Driving Against Traffic – Lagos Police Reveals

The Lagos police command has reacted to the disagreement between their officers and soldiers at Apongbon area of Lagos earlier today.

In a video obtained by this publication, soldiers were seen attacking men of the Lagos police taskforce and trying to disarm one of the officers in a very heated disagreement.

In a statement released this evening, the police command revealed that a soldier who ordered the vehicle he was in to drive against traffic decided to attack police officers for stopping the vehicle.

It was also revealed that the army have been informed of the development.

‘’The soldier, who was a passenger, directed the driver to drive against traffic. The policemen stopped the vehicle and the soldier took offense that the vehicle he boarded was stopped. He, therefore, decided to attack the armed policeman. The Army have been informed.’’
