The Turkey presidential election has so far brought a bucket of surprises as many expected the incumbent president, Tayyip Erdogan to win in a landslide following the previous elections in the country but unfortunately, He couldn’t get the necessary 50% votes to hand him the election victory.

With 97.95% of votes counted, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported Erdogan had 49.34% of votes, compared to 44.99% for his main opponent, Kemal Kilicdaroglu – meaning neither could claim an outright win.

The electoral body in the country announced that a re-run would be held between the two leading candidates and this ultimately reflects the decision of the people to wrestle power from the incumbent government.

This no doubt has fulfilled the prophecy of world-renowned prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele regarding Turkey’s president which he included in his annual prophecy book titled Warnings To The Nations, released in July 2022.

In the prophecy book, Primate Ayodele made it known that the incumbent president of Turkey will face challenges in the following year (2023) and that the people will clamor for a change of government in the country.

Among several warnings he gave to the president, Primate Ayodele revealed that the president will face so many difficulties and will be accused of corrupt practices. He also mentioned that there will be protests against the government as some people will call for his resignation.

These warnings were accurately fulfilled with the protests against President Erdogan in recent times and earlier this month, there were a series of calls for the president to resign from his position as the leader of the country.

These were Primate Ayodele’s words:

‘’ TURKEY: I foresee the country will experience so many difficulties and must pray against flooding and climatic troubles. I foresee a border crisis even as the country must pray against having problems with some countries around them. I foresee the country will face economic problems. I foresee the country will upgrade its weapons system and war arsenals. I foresee the country will face security threats. The country needs to be watchful of protests as the President will be accused of corrupt practices. The people of the country will clamor for a change of government.’’

‘’ I foresee the people will kick against certain policies of the government. The country must pray against deaths and high temperatures in some parts of the country that will affect the health of the people. Let the country pray against disasters. I foresee that certain elements in the country will plot against the President. I foresee some people will criticize the President and he must be watchful of crises in the military. There will be protests against the president. Some people will call for his resignation. The President will face multiple crises within and outside the country. Some people will leave the country because of unexpected flooding.’’

There will be a re-run soon and the outcome is yet to be known considering the many factors that may play out in the election but for the fact that President Erdogan couldn’t win in the first round elections, Primate Ayodele’s prophecy has been fulfilled.
