CP, ASABI CONDEMNS ATTACK ON ONDO WOMEN AFFAIRS COMMISSIONER, ORDERS PROBE TO UNRAVEL CAUSE OF ASSAULT
The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, CP Asabi Abiodun psc, has condemned the attack on Dr Adebunmi OSADAHUN, who is also the Commissioner for Women Affairs in the State.
While speaking to our correspondent, Ondo state Public relations officer, SP Funmilayo Odunlami Omisanya explained that Preliminary investigation reveals that the Commissioner who was in the Akoko area to see to the distribution of State palliatives was attacked by the assailant named Awolumate Olumide, while having a meeting with some of their Party members in the Area.
She disclosed that the Commissioner of Police in the state has ordered that a thorough investigation be carried out and the case transferred to the SCID, Akure for further probe into what led to the Assault.
