Tension as Donald Trump escapes Assassination during Presidential Rally

United States Republican Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has recounted the shooting incident at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, which left one person dead and another seriously injured.
The Former President was on Saturday rushed off a stage during a presidential rally following what sounded like gunshots.
Trump sustained a minor injury during the attack before the Secret Service quickly escorted him off the stage after gunshots were fired.
In a statement released on Sunday, Trump provided details about his injury, stating that a bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear.
While expressing his condolences to the families of the victims who were shot and injured during the attack, Trump thanked law enforcement for their prompt response to the shooting.

He said, “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.

“I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured.”
