I Urinated On The Pitch To Dilute Akwa United’s Juju Water – Suspended Auwal Cries Out
Weeks after Mohammed Auwal, the Shooting Stars Camp Commandant was suspended from all NPFL related activities for the duration of 1 year by the IMC for urinating on the pitch, he has finally opened up on what transpired and led to his shocking action.
According to report by oyosportsnews, Auwal Mohammed had accosted Akwa United coach and players on their way to the turf saying they would not be allowed to plant any voodoo on it before kickoff.
To clear his conscience, Akwa United Coach Mr. Ayeni have him invited to their prayer session at the center circle of the pitch, an invitation he didn’t oblige.
Shortly after Akwa have had their prayers and sprayed what they described as a holy water on the the pitch, Auwal raced towards Ayeni to ascertain why they poured what he described as ‘juju water’ on the pitch.
So as to ensure the safety of his players, Auwal had no other option but to urinate on the turf as a way of neutralising and sanitizing the environment.
Reacting to the behavior of Auwal, Ayeni denied using juju water on the field, rather explained that it was a holy water used by the players to seal off their prayer point of getting a good result away from home
Auwal apart from the LMC sanction, has been suspended by Shooting Stars.
