Falz fumes as APC supporters criticise him for undergoing surgery in UK instead of Lagos

Ace rapper and activist, Folarin Falana also known as Falz, has reacted after being called out by Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s son, Bashir and APC members for undergoing knee surgery in the United Kingdom.

Few days ago, the artiste disclosed that he sustained a knee injury last year while playing football with friends.

Falz explained that he had to repair his torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), after being advised to go for surgery.

He shared a painful video and solicited prayers from his fans, colleagues and well-meaning Nigerians.

He said; “On the 23rd I went to play football and I sustain a knee injury. And it’s pretty serious. On November 30th, 2022, I did my ACL. My MRI came back and it shows that there is a complete tear on my ACL. I have been advised to go into surgery to fix it”.

In reaction, Bashir El-Rufai said it was disappointing that he didn’t choose to have his surgery done at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital.

“UK? He didn’t go to LASUTH as a bona-fide human rights activist?

Disappointing”, he wrote.

Also, some staunch APC supporters attacked him for always criticisin government and said he was guilty of the same thing he often acccuses politician of doing.

But Falz who felt they were just looking for something to use and drag him, noted via his Twitter account that they were stupid and unelightened.

He wrote; “So pathetic these people are trying sooooo hard to latch on to this knee surgery gist. Eyahhh.

Na so una dey desperate for ammunition. Just find a smart phone & google ACL rupture. ODE. The audacity that stupidity gives you sha. Sigh.”
