Police Recruitment: List Of Successful Candidates Released

The Nigeria Police Force has asked citizens who applied and participated in its recent recruitment exercise to check the portal for their names.
A piece of information on the force’s official recruitment website on Monday, confirmed that the list of successful candidates who applied for the ongoing recruitment is now out.

The NPF urged applicants to immediately check their application status.

Successful candidates are required to proceed to the next stage of the exercise by printing their Computer Based Test (CBT) examination slip.

The update reads, “All applicants who applied and attended the physical screening exercise are advised to check their recruitment status and print their Computer Based Test (CBT) examination slips if qualified for the next stage of the exercise”.

Applicants are also required to provide their National Identification Number (NIN) on the webpage to check their status, Naija News reports.

Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, has reacted to viral reports of a serving officer caught smoking weed in the public.
Naija News understands that photos of the said officer had appeared online after he was seen somewhere in the Ijora area of Lagos State, taking the ‘hard’ substance.

The officer’s photo has caused a barrage of reactions from concerned Nigerians.

“A Nigerian police officer at Ijora Lagos smoking weed on duty,” the viral photo caption read.

Reacting to the development in a statement, the acting Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the IGP would take necessary disciplinary action against the errant policeman.

He noted that the Lagos State Police Command had been informed of the development and is doing all it can to identify the erring officer.
