Ondo APC senator, Jimoh Ibrahim appoints 100 personal assistants to carry out his legislative duties
The senator representing Ondo South senatorial district, Jimoh Ibrahim, has appointed 100 personal aides.
Ibrahim, a prominent businessman before his foray into politics, made the announcement in a statement released on Tuesday, September 19.
According to the statement, the aides were picked across the six local government areas of the senatorial district in the southwest state.
The statement further revealed that the letters of appointment are due for presentation to the appointees today, Wednesday, September 20.
The list excludes five statutory aides whom the senator had earlier appointed as provided in the National Assembly Act.
According to the Act, senators, excluding principal officers, are entitled to five aides, including one senior legislative aide, two legislative aides, a personal assistant and a secretary.
