Liverpool Defeat Crystal Palace To Remain Top Position

Newslens NG reports that Liverpool earned a hard-fought 1-0 win over Crystal Palace to maintain their impressive form in the Premier League.

The Reds held on to victory to earn a sixth consecutive victory in all competitions and to also keep them on top of the Premier League table.

Diogo Jota scored the only goal of the game in the ninth minute after poor defending from Crystal Palace.

Liverpool goalkeeper, Allison limped off in the encounter due to a hamstring injury, while Alexis Mac Allister was also substituted in half time.

Arne Slot also became the first-ever Liverpool manager to win his opening four Premier League away games in charge of the club following wins against Ipswich, Manchester United, Wolves, and Crystal Palace.

Liverpool have now won six out of their opening seven Premier League games this season.

“Now, what is the exact situation, can he go to Argentina? Can he play over there? That is difficult for me to tell you now, It’s an issue in his groin area.”
